Surmount Investigations has been asked a few times whether we work with or would recommend the services of National Networked Investigations.
To be clear, National Networked Investigations is a scam that involves ‘licensing’ “20 cases a week” to investigators in return for £50 commission per case – once you’ve paid hundreds of pounds to cover ‘half’ of your online training to become an investigator! Once they’ve got your money, they kill contact with you and leave you high and dry with no work.
On the flip side, they induce large ‘deposits’ from their client base for a variety of cases and then do not deliver on any follow-up work.
They’re not the originators of this scam nor are they the only ones doing it. But they’re the most prolific and are doing considerable damage to the reputation of the professional investigation industry. They’re the exact sort of reason as to why Surmount Investigations is an enormous advocate for the licensing of the investigation industry – to protect potential clients and future trainee investigators from being exposed to the malfeasance of people like ‘National Networked Investigations’.
They close its website every now and again and then reopen with minor adjustments to their name – They used to be ‘National Network Investigations’. And for a while they were ‘Network of National Investigators’.

Surmount Investigations generates its own work-load and client base from a wide variety of avenues and works on an agent-to-agent basis with only those affiliated with or members of The Association of British Investigators.
